This is the third restaurant for prominent NZ chef Mark Limacher. His previous restaurants included Roxburgh Bistro and Bastille.
Ortega Fish Shack and Bar is a specialist seafood restaurant and very popular Wellington eatery that was designed and built in 2007. Special features include the reclaimed old Egyptian floor tiles on the entrance floor, original glass fishing floats that suspend over a custom made bar.
